It has been a mission, but here we are, the FRANCULATOR. This handy application helps with all the required calculations when doing a basic enquiry on any type of building construction in regards with SANS 10400 Part T: Fire Protection.
This will shorten the time required to do all the necessary calculation for the amount of hose reels, fire extinguishers, fire hydrants and even if a detection or sprinkler system is required. Although only in its first version, we are planning to broaden the calculations which the application uses. This will include calculations for smoke ventilation, safety distances & even PAX requirements (number of persons allowed on the floor at a time).
